President of the Spanish Association of Directors of Photography (AEC) for three years, winner of the Kodak Vision Award, graduate of the Complutense University of Madrid in addition to having a Master’s degree from The American film Institute and the Profesional Program  from The American UCLA. Teresa Medina AEC is one of the most renowned cinematographers in the industry both in the field of cinema and television, advertising and documentary genre.

During her many years of experience in the profession, she has created the cinematography of the feature films “Things I never told you”(Goya for best script and double award at the Prague festival) The Blue Diner (Alma Award) “The 24 hour woman” Best film at the Sundance Film Festival) Everything is Dark(Best film  at The Bogota Film Festival) “Female Perversions” (Nominated for best Film in Sundance) “Reflections in the dark”(Best Film at the Avignon Festival) “Unconditional Love”(best Film at Hamptons Film Festival)

She has filmed 9 episodes (1st season) of the North American series “Gilmore Girls” or “Color Straight up” (Nominated for the Academy Award) and has made multiple advertising commercials working for Director Spike Lee, festivals like Sundance and large corporations like Sony.

Teresa is a member of the AEC, and belongs to the board of members of the Spanish Academy of Motion Pictures.

She has been giving seminars at Chapman University, IATSE, or Kodak institute among them.

Lately she has been teaching at The Nebrija University and Voxel school.

Her latest work has been the TV series “ La Favorita 1922” (Mediaset Spain)

Ella ha filamdo 9 episodios de la 1 Temporada de Gilmore Girls y fue segunda unidad en el documental "Colors Straight up"(Nominada  a Academy Award) y ha rodado multiples publicidades con directores como Spike lee, instituciones como Sundance o grandes corporaciones como Sony.

Teresa es miembro de la AEC y pertenece a la junta directiva de la Academai de Cine Español.

Ha impartido semianarios en  el Instituto Kodak, IATSE o Chapman University. Profesora en la Universidad Nebrija, Voxel y The Core.

Su ultimo trabajo ha sido la serie "La favorita 1922", con la productora Bambu para Mediaset.
